From now on, this is the first thing I want you to do when you arrive at your gym or studio – take a deep breath and relax.
Bring yourself into presence, release any pressure that has been mounting throughout your day or in hurrying from one place to the next. Take a deep breath, relax, and set the stage for your practice.
One thing I have learned in writing about and teaching this stuff… the more simple a practice, the more powerful it is. It helps to have reminders to take pause. Whenever you arrive anywhere is a good reminder to take a deep breath. You have arrived.
